Common tasks
Check the overall average
Look at the Overall Average Score card at the top. Shows the weighted average and a performance band letter (A–F).
Identify top and bottom performers
Scroll to Subject Spotlight:
- Leading subjects (left) — highest averages.
- Focus subjects (right) — lowest averages.
Each shows the score and student count.
See performance by grade
The Grade Performance Overview chart shows bars per grade. Taller = higher average.
Understand the distribution
Performance Distribution shows the % of students in each band — Excellent (85–100), Good (75–84), Average (60–74), Needs Improvement (0–59).
Review the table
The Grade details table lists each grade with average score, performance band, and student count.
Read insights
Scroll to Key insights — contextual observations like "Top performing grade: Form 5A leads with 87%" or "Grade needing support: Form 1C averages 62%."
Troubleshooting
- Charts empty — no grades submitted yet. Use Gradebook / Report Cards.
- Performance bands look wrong — ensure grades are on a 0–100 scale (not letter or 4.0 GPA).
- Subject list incomplete — only subjects with grades show.
- Student count seems low — sample reflects students with recorded scores only.
Limits & known issues
- Performance bands are fixed (Excellent 85–100, Good 75–84, Average 60–74, Needs Improvement 0–59). No customization yet.
- No trend history — current performance only; cross-term comparison is not yet available.
- Schools with 1000+ students may see slower chart rendering.
